Perform Breast Self Exam with Model:
1. Visual Inspection: Stand in front of a mirror and observe the breast shape, nipples, and areola. Check the skin for abnormalities such as dimpling, redness, swelling, or visible veins.
2. Palpation: Using the fingers of the opposite hand (four fingers together, not fingertips), gently press the breast in small, clockwise circular motions from the inside out. Refer to the self-exam technique on the educational card to feel for any lumps beneath the skin.
3. Nipple Check: After palpation, gently squeeze the nipples. Normally, there should be no discharge. If blood-stained or yellow fluid appears, it is recommended to consult a healthcare professional.
