Medarchitect – Our Mission:
Our company specializes in the design, manufacture, and ongoing improvement of medical models, simulators and training devices to elevate medical student education and learning – above & beyond conventional classroom lectures and books.
Sponsor VAW Global Suturing Event
VAW Global Health Alliances (VAW Global) works with other agencies to provide communities with improved access to medical and dental treatment, medication, clean water, and health education. For an October, 2021 suture training seminar, VAW invited our company to assist them in their training event.
Medarchitect responded by donating a sufficient quantity of its Suture Practice Kits to fully equip every participant who attended the event.
Some participants had commented that they had heard some very negative remarks about the suture kits that had been used at previous events and were prepared to deal with the issues that they had been warned about. But once their training began and they actually had hands on experience using the Medarchitect kits, their concerns melted away. Many made positive comments on how easy the kits were to use, how durable the pads seemed to be, and would likely withstand repeated use multiple times.
This is a great moment for us, as well as a milestone, since our relatively young company was only established in 2017 in a market that was extremely competitive and already saturated with poor quality products. Trying to get out the message that “our product is different and better” is often buried in the avalanche of false claims made by the substandard brands.
