Solid arm for some phlebotomy practice

If you're looking for an arm that you can practice syringe draws for phlebotomy you're golden and those supplies are a little easier to get a hold of. If you want an arm that will allow you the ability to do tube draws this won't work well. I've tried everything and can only get a small amount on the tube. I wanted it mostly so I could work on my anchoring technique and it's worked well for those needs. It's absolutely not a good substitute for a real arm and veins, even the super expensive ones buts great for practicing technique on something that won't be in pain or bruised up badly.

As a nursing student and a new lab tech this has been helpful to work on my sticks.

Good product

Use this for Phleb training in our Medical Assisting Program. This is much more life like than other models I have used.The only concern is that the skin feels glued down to the base so not sure if I'll be able to replace the skin when needed or if I'll need to just buy an entire new arm. But with price shouldn't be to big of a deal if I need to buy an entirely new arm so long as I can get a 2-3 years out of the skin before it needs replaced.

I've been interested in phlebotomy for years - probably because I have terrible experiences when I go get labs done. I'm going to be starting classes in about 6 months and want to get a head start on practicing. This model helps so much with learning basics! I was able to draw on my third poke - probably would have helped if I used the syringes included? Instead I was using a syringe with a 22g short needle. But out of 10 tries I was able to draw on about half of them so eventually I'll get it.Everything is included in this set to get started. I do wish there were some simple instructions on set up, cleaning, and care. But it is pretty simple to figure out.If you're interested in phlebotomy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this model 👍😁👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great training kit!

A someone who needs regular care this kind of kit was recommended by my care team to use in the event of a natural disaster or similar instance where I can not get to care. I had a bit of Dr's help to show me the ropes, and within a few tries I was able to consistently get into the vein on the first stick. Good realistic details with a variety of vein sizes to practice on.
